Malcolm Brownbill

1. Nice tranquil opening. Allegro has poise and space and good dynamic range noted. 3- Good bass lead and clear detail to follow. 5- Fine Solo lines and detail to follow.

2. Confident opening. 7 - Safe solo lines here. Cads quite well judged with good band support. 10 - A touch strong for piano and minor slip noted but fine control and detail to follow

3. Good width and direction noted with quiet dynamics and always well shaped. 15 - Impish feel and I hear the tambourine. 15 + 9 - Fine sounds here. 16 - Not overblown 17 - Well balanced here. Final bars so well graded.

A very musical performance from individuals and conductor - Thank you.

Colin Hardy

1. Super start with all balanced. Bar 9 also. Allegro good f, all in place 1 - Good contrast ff, lots of detail evident. Well done baritone 2 - 3 all detail heard and all soloists do well. I do like the dynamic contrasts and control to end.

2. Starts well. 7+ is safe but could be more sost for me and basses too detatched for me. Sop / Cornet goo. 9+ also flug good. 10 - loud for p and odd blip occurs. Good detail into 11. Lots of space given too 11+9 Andante - some good contrasts made to close.

3. Flows well but a very safe pp. 13/14 lovely shape. 15 - Super control well done. Irato - V Good lovely depth of sound. 16 - mf good. Well shaped into 17 - this is so well balanced. So well in control all way to close. Super well done.

A very musical performance with so much control. Well done MD. Soloists all did well. Many Thanks.
