Dinner and Dance 2008

The Band held its Annual Dinner and Dance on Saturday 12th January at the Lakeview Country Club.

During the evening the Annual Awards were presented by Musical Director, Brian Minear. The Player's Player award went to Jacob Pritchard. Youth Player of the Year was awarded to Stacie Hill and Senior Player of the Year went to Zoe Hancock. Congratulations to them all.

Both Youth and Senior Bands now look forward to the challenges of 2008 with a number of contests throughout the year and a busy summer season ahead of them.

The Senior Band are to start work on the test piece (James Cook Circumnavigator) which they will perform at the the Regional Contest held in Torquay on Saturday 8th March.
