St Dennis Band Fete and Bungee Jump

On Saturday 2nd June, the Band held its annual fete at the Band Club. Various side stalls included the ever popular cake stall, BBQ and tombola. Featured at the fete were the Beginner, Junior, Youth and Senior Bands, all performing a small selection of items from their summer repertoire.

The choosing of the band queen took place during the afternoon and Lucinda Boulter was chosen as the St Dennis Band Queen for 2007.

This years event drew a lot of interest as the sponsored bungee jump was held in the later part of the afternoon. A total of 31 brave jumpers launched themselves from a cage 150ft above the ground. 11 of the jumpers were from the Band. They have been collecting sponsors over the last few months for the band. The whole event turned out to be a great success.
