Stacie Hill was recently awarded the Youth Citizens Award for 2006/2007 by the Mayor of Restormel for her musical achievements over such a short period of time.

Stacie is a member of both St Dennis Youth and Senior Bands and competes at many of the local solo contests each year, gaining many awards along the way. She has recently been promoted to the Repiano Cornet position in the Senior Band and is also a member of the Cornwall Youth Brass Band.

On Saturday 5th May Stacie competed at the Bugle Festival of Music, Speech and Dance where she gained 2 First placing's 1 Second placing and 1 Third placing. She was also received awards for 'The Highest Mark of the day' and 'The Most Promising player'
