What a great day on Saturday at Bugle!! The Youth Band gave a really fantastic performance which was extremely musical and intelligently presented. We're even more proud than we were before!!! All the little ones looked really smart and certainly enjoyed their day!! Considering that we did not have a Youth Band at Christmas it was an amazing achievement. Onwards and upwards!!

The senior band also gave a splendidly musical performance, one which certainly underpins this fine Championship Section band!!

As for the actual results - who cares!!

Well done to Garry and Darren who, between them, work so hard with both bands - keep up the good work!!

Well, we've met the challenge set by Garry at Christmas and the re-launched Youth Band will be on stage at Bugle contest!!! It's been an incredible journey with a lot of fantastic success stories - the progress of the very young players, Myles, Grace, Amy, Chloe, Rebecca, Suzanne & Bethany has been amazing! We are very proud of you all and we know you will give a really super performance!! So many thanks must go to everybody who has made this possible, especially to the older Senior Band members who have given up their time to "fill in the gaps" over the last few months. Special mention must also go to the under 20's of the Senior Band who will be playing - your lips must be quite tired!!!! Good luck and have a great day xXx

Many congratulations on your fine performance of English Heritage on Sunday. The 5th placing was entirely justified. Philip Harper's reading and what he got out of the band was truly inspirational. Well done to all concerned. I am as proud to be associated with the band as I ever was.

Another fantastic day at Torquay on Sunday!! We know just how much hard work the band put in to English Heritage under both Garry & Philip and it really has paid off!! 5th place is an extremely good result for the band and proves that you can do it!!
