St Dennis Band Solo and Quartet Contest 2011 Results

On Saturday 26th November 2011, St Dennis Band held their annual Solo and Quartet contest at St Dennis Primary School. The Adjudicator was Owen Farr. The contest had a very good entry and this year a Learner Class was introduced. Owen Farr stated how important the Solo and Quartet contests are for young players to progress and the excellent playing he witnessed during the day. He Stated that it was good to see contests being available for them to attend.

The St Dennis Band Committee would like to thank Head Teacher Mrs Pillington and her Staff for their co-operation in having the school as our very popular venue. Thank you also to committee members, parents and Sally Julian and Ann Sleeman who stepped in at the last minute, who helped the contest to run smoothly. Lastly, thank you to all competitors who represented the various Bands. The results are as follows:-
